• Om du ved oppstart av Novapoint VA etter nyinstallasjon av Novapoint 18.10 får følgende feilmelding:

Unable to copy or rename from c:\programfiles\vianova\novapoint\18.10\WaterSewer\Config\Norway\NpWsConfig.sdf to C:\Users\<Brukernavn>\AppData\Roaming\ViaNova\Novapoint\18.10\Norway\WSConfig\<Prosjektnavn>_Np WsConfig.sdf

eller ingenting skjer:

Sjekk at driverne for å lese .sdf databasen er installert.

Gå til “Control Panel” (Startmenyen/ikonet i Windows og velg “Control Panel”) Velg så “Uninstall a program” under kategorien Programs Bla deg nedover i lista og sjekk at følgende to program finnes: Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 ENU med versjon 3.5.8080.0 Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 x64 ENU med versjon 3.5.8080.0 Her kan en laste ned driverne til Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition 3.5 Last ned og installer http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=e497988a-c93a-404c-b161-3a0b323dce24

Legg spesielt merke til følgende merknad som står nesten nederst på siden: “On a 64-bit Computer, install both the 32-bit and the 64-bit version of the SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 MSI files. Existing SQL Server Compact 3.5 applications may fail if only the 32-bit version of the MSI file is installed on the 64-bit computer. Developers should chain both the 32-bit and the 64-bit MSI files with their applications and install both of them on the 64-bit Computer. Refer to the KB article or to the Install.txt file that is extracted with the MSI files for more information.”

Det vil si at hvis du har 64 bit versjonen, må BÅDE 64 og 32 bit MSI filene installeres. Dersom det er kjørt “Silent install” av Novapoint 18.10, må Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 installeres separat.

Sjekk at driverne for å lese .sdf databasen har korrekt versjon.
