Release notes

Requested enhancements (not decided where to release):

  • Save all observed and measured points to Novapoint Survey compatible log file
  • Support for measuring or creating arcs (or polylines with bulge)
  • When activating command, check if FOLLOW ME toggle needs to be turned off beforehand

2011.06.05 : V1.4

  • Added support for Trimble Totalstations that support NMEA with local grid coordinates. This also requires TSM to be installed

2011.06.01 : V1.3

  • Added support for Leica Totalstations using GSI protocol

2010.10.12 : V1.2

  • Support for data coming from Leica totalstations. This will allow to work outdoor as well as indoor. More ongoing discussions with ohter hardware vendors needed. For Leica the GSI protocol is supported so that all types of totalstations can be used.
  • Support for creating linear objects in 3D > this creates 3D polylines.
  • Another version has been created where the buttons are a lot smaller, so that this can also be used on smaller toughbooks such as Yuma.

2010.04.23 : V1.1

  • Move existing objects to new location (should work for blocks), optioanlly fill in DATUM and FID attribute
  • Provide intelligent BREAK command, that breaks all existing lines that are intersected by the observed breakline
  • User can decide whether points get created in 2D or 3D > provide option in settings
  • User can define the maximum tolerance on GPS precision (if Leica or Trimble GPS is used)
  • Insert predefined blocks in drawing: currently markinfo en posinfo are available
  • Select existing objects: this is now working for polylines, lines and blocks(insertionpoint)
  • Add XDATA to point objects: date, elevation and precision, linear objects get only date, if no precision or elevation available, predefined values are inserted
